What is Neuromuscular Massage? Neuromuscular Massage is performed in the office by Dr. Fetterman prior to his adjustments. It differs from regular massage therapy in the sense that it addresses individual neuromuscular reflexes in the muscles that relate to the areas of complaint or in the compensating areas of the body. This form of therapy allows Dr. Fetterman to address myofascial adhesions and calcifications in the tendons and ligaments to allow for the the body to return to its normal positioning and return to regular biomechanical function. This form of treatment allows Dr. Fetterman to get better, faster, and longer lasting results than by utilizing Chiropractic alone. This form of therapy also reduces the frequency of office visits/treatments that is normally equated to in other Chiropractor's Treatment plans saving the patient time and money in the long run. |
